EPD – Environmental Product Declaration
The “Environmental Product Declarations” are Type III environmental declarations developed according to a specific standard defined by the International norm ISO 14025.
Specifically EPD provide detailed, objective and comparable information on the environmental impact of a product, taking into account important variables such as energy and raw material consumption, air emissions, waste production and discharges into water lines.
As demonstration of its ongoing commitment to the environment, EUROSTANDARD has first carried out a “Life Cycle Assessment – LCA” for each family of polyethylene fittings of its own production and then summarized the essential information in the EPD declarations.
