The steel/pe thread couplings are manufactured by overmolding a polyethylene PE100 tubular part on a steel pipe section suitably prepared, bended at 90° and thread. The steel part is in conformity with the UNI EN ISO 3183 standard and galvanized according to UNI EN 10240 A.1-– “lead free galvanized pipe”. They are available in two versions: type A: version with galvanized steel pipe and with thread end type R: version with galvanized steel coated pipe and with thread end. They are suitable for pipelines for the distribution of gas, water and fluids under pressure.
